Benzocaine, a topical anesthetic ingredient, relieves itching and pain associated with scratches, cuts, bites, or burns. It works to numb the nerve endings in affected areas wherever the powder is applied. It is also often used in first aid applications, as well as sunburn relief products. This powder also contains ferric subsulfate for bleeding control.
