Ursidol is used for the remediation and prevention of gallstones in cats and dogs, as well as the regulation of biliary cirrhosis. It is available in capsules of 300 mg and is sold per unit.

Ursodiol is intended for dogs and cats with gallbladder conditions.
Ursodiol is an orally administered capsule used to treat conditions related to liver and gallbladder disease, primarily for the treatment and removal of gallstones resulting from cholesterol buildup.
Ursodiol works by radically diminishing and dissolving potentially harmful cholesterol and bile buildups produced by the liver. This stops the absorption by the intestines that usually follows, which leads to gallstones and biliary cirrhosis.
