Trifexis is a deworming product, and Credelio kills ticks. They use two different active ingredients. Trifexis contains Spinosad and Milbemycin Oxime, starting to kill fleas in as little as 30 minutes and eliminating all fleas in a matter of 4 hours. Credelio uses Lotilaner, which is known to eliminate fleas within 12 hours and 98.7% of ticks within 8 hours.

Both products are safe for dogs when used according to the label directions. Neither of these products have been evaluated for use in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs. Unlike Credelio, Trifexis chewable tablets are not available for cats.
